My daughter has got more enjoyment out of this than any of her other toys. Talk about a beautiful castle. I would buy another. She uses the princess set in it and has army men (from her brothers) to protect the castle. This is one toy you don't mind having sit in your living room. This castle is sturdy and the painting on it is wonderful.
I don't get it - you'd need mini-mini furniture lol.Overall, this is a great idea, but I think it fell a little short for our needs. I agree with all the posters who say this is a sturdy, well made doll house, but I have one small complaint. The rooms are sooo small. My 3 y/o daughter can barely get her hands inside to put mini-funiture in there, and can't play around because the openings are so tiny.
It has so far survived a year with very minimal flaking of the pressed wood and no chipping of the paint or other breakage. It opens up wide enough for two children to easily play without getting in eachother's way. And I love that it folds up and doesn't take up a lot of room. I purchased this castle last Christmas for my daughter who had just turned 4. This is a great product that we are all very happy with. She uses the Disney figurines and plays forever running them around the castle. She loves it and plays with it all the time. My son is three years younger and he likes to play with it along side her.
Some of the rooms are small but my daughter doesn't mind. I didn't care much for the generic plastic doll houses in the stores, but I really like this nice wooden castle. It's a very nice size with nice details.
I am very satisfied with my purchase. The castle is very beautiful with many rooms, towers, and a small stable. I bought this castle for my 5-year old daughter. Her and her older brother enjoy playing with it, using Littlest Pet Shop animals, Lego figures, and Playmobil figures.
